MEC is based out of Englewood, CO. Our staff is limited to regional or national outreach. If you are interested in a presentation for your school or educational group, please refer to the below resources.

#2 Is there a local SME representative in your area?
Ask if your local SME Section has a MEC committee or a Speaker’s Bureau.
A local SME student chapter could also provide presentations.
#3 Are there active mines in your area?
Many mines across the country have outreach departments that can provide a speaker to your school or educational event.
#4 Is there a local museum with a rock exhibit?
You may be able to visit the museum and they may have staff available to make a presentation to your group.
#5 Is there a Gem & Mineral club in your area?
Local experts and those who enjoy rocks & minerals as a hobby can share information with you.
#6 Is there a College or University in your area, especially a School of Mines that you can contact?
