MEC Spotlight

Move Mining Next Gen Competition—Enter Now!

The contest closes January 18 at noon MT, so this is the perfect time to prepare your K-12 student videos to ensure your entry is complete in time! Move Mining Next Gen is an online competition for students K-12 that explores the importance of mined minerals to our daily lives.

The prize for Best Overall is $1,000. Prizes are also given for grade categories.  The 1st place prizes are $250, the 2nd place prizes are for $150. The categories are Grades K-5, Grades 6-8, and Grades 9-12.  Have fun and make your videos now!
